Cozzini Bros., America’s #1 commercial knife rental and sharpening service, seeks a Business Development Manager to expand market presence nationwide. You will build relationships with commercial kitchens in your assigned territory and close new accounts.

In this field role, you will conduct high-volume outreach, drive growth through new and upsell opportunities, and collaborate with the service team to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Exposure or experience in the foodservice industry
• A successful background in a remote field sales/business development role
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
• Highly motivated, target-driven with a proven track record
• Highly competitive, a "refuse to lose" mentality.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Coachable team players
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet pre-employment and periodic MVR requirements
• Pass background screen and drug test
• Possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required, but a big plus

Responsabilités

• Executing 15+ in-person sales contacts every day / 70 each week
• Leaving a minimum of 8 knife trials with prospective customers each week
• Establishing a minimum of 5 new customers each week through cold calling, networking, social media prospecting, and lead execution
• Establish a minimum of 4 new upsells within existing accounts, focusing on programs such as can openers, slicer blades, and food processing blades.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of sales knives
• Working effectively with all Cozzini Bros. service and support team members
• Performing all duties safely (knife handling, operating company vehicles, and being inside commercial kitchens)
• Maintaining the Cozzini Bros. company vehicle
