Job summary

Mediacom Communications is hiring a Broadband Specialist I to perform installations and service changes for cable TV and broadband. You will drive a company vehicle, visit customer homes, and represent Mediacom daily.

Training is provided and opportunities to advance arise with self-guided training and performance-based bonuses. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in various conditions and heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Basic mechanical and consumer devices knowledge.
• Ability to interact and communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and changes of service, including exterior and interior work.
• Drive company vehicle and assist customers with service needs.
• Explain FCC rules and company policies to customers.
• Read signal levels and use basic field tools during installs.
• Complete paperwork and maintain safety and quality standards.
