Mediacom Communications is seeking a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician) to install cable television and broadband services at customers' homes. You will drive a company vehicle, perform installations, changes of service, and handle customer requests while representing Mediacom.

The role requires physical work, climbing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and operating hand and power tools. No experience required; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Willingness to lift 50–100 lbs and work in various heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform new connections, disconnections and outlet installations.
• Install and adjust equipment, test signal levels and troubleshoot.
• Explain FCC rules and company policies to customers.
• Drive company vehicle and perform on-site installations.
• Provide good customer service and sales information on options.
