Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Broadband Specialist I to install and service cable TV and broadband at customer homes. You will drive a company van, handle installations, changes of service, additional outlets, and related duties, engaging with customers daily.

Roles include learning on-the-job, performing installs, and addressing customer requests while upholding FCC rules and company policies. The position emphasizes safety and quality customer experiences across multiple states.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• General mechanical knowledge and ability to work in tight spaces.
• Ability to interact and communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Make customer drop installations (exterior and interior) from tap to antenna terminals.
• Perform new connects, reconnects, and service changes.
• Analyze picture quality after installation and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Climb poles and work at various heights as needed.
• Drive company vehicle and perform vehicle upkeep.
