Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales team in Spokane. The BDR will focus on identifying new business opportunities through cold calls, networking and campaigns, and will collaborate with senior Account Managers to develop leads and sell materials handling equipment.

The role requires extensive field time, driving within the territory, and building relationships with customers, while also pursuing rental equipment opportunities and aftermarket

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; two years sales experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management.
• Ability to work in a field/sales environment and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Make thirty cold-call contacts per day, three days per week.
• Identify opportunities via newspapers, Dunn and Bradstreet, and internet sources.
• Generate sales leads through literature, mail, email and campaigns.
• Increase market awareness through warm calling and networking.
• Create and manage prospective customer database and mail merges.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop new customers.
