Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin Veterinary Business Unit in Rochester, NY area. This field-based role requires living within the territory and occasional overnight travel to conferences.

You will execute the Vet BU strategy, identify clinic opportunities, and drive sales performance by engaging clinic decision-makers and translating data into opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet territory objectives.
• Manage expense and sales budgets and CRM reporting.
