Job summary

ACRT, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to inspect trees along utility corridors and coordinate crews for risk-based vegetation management. You will map circuits, document findings, and communicate with clients to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with two years of utility forestry experience and are on track for ISA certification within 30 months. The role demands outdoor work, strong communication, and independent teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus two years of utility forestry/vegetation management experience.
• Eligible for ISA Arborist certification within 30 months of assignment.
• Ability to learn and use company software and maps.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inspect local trees along utility lines and document findings for clients.
• Direct and coordinate tree clearance crews; plan field work and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with state/local standards and client Vegetation Management guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response and storm restoration tasks as needed.
• Maintain safety and regulatory requirements during field operations.
