Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional who lives within a reasonable distance of the primary city to drive brand strategy, sales performance, and customer relationships.

You will execute territory plans, meet KPIs, and maintain strong customer solutions aligned with AbbVies code of conduct and regulatory requirements. You will possess a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience), endure HCIR credentialing, and thrive in a matrix environment with cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with 3+ years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; HS diploma/GED accepted with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed on those objectives.
• Create pre-call plan objectives and post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance; handle objections and close on calls.
• Build trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize short and long-term sales performance.
• Develop and execute a call plan to optimize coverage and frequency to key customers for access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence on customer needs, territory dynamics and competitors to align brand strategy and execution.
• Differentiate AbbVies value with health providers and identify disease state experts to maximize brand performance.
