Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional to manage a defined territory, advancing brand strategy and driving sales performance. You will develop call plans, engage key accounts, and build relationships with health providers while ensuring compliance with HCIR credentialing.

Candidates should be prepared to travel within a reasonable distance from the primary city, with compensation aligned to experience and performance within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry with at least 3 years in salespreferred; high school diploma/GED required
• Proven leadership, strong presentation skills and business acumen; strategic thinking
• Ability to adapt selling approach to customer style; works well in a matrix environment
• HCIR credentialing compliance and valid driver’s license with ability to pass drug screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
• Create pre-call plan objectives and post-call evaluation to improve sales performance.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Build trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs.
• Share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and engage experts.
