Job summary

Thryv is seeking a results-driven Software Sales Representative to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close in a local territory. You will build a pipeline, meet business owners in person, and articulate how Thryv's AI-powered Growth Platform helps SMBs get found online and grow revenue.

In this field-based role, you’ll leverage outbound outreach, networking, and consultations to win net-new customers, while collaborating with training and product teams to sharpen your approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience; SaaS/software or SMB sales a plus.
• 2+ years in an outbound, full-cycle sales role from prospecting through close.
• Experience generating pipeline via phone, email, networking or referrals.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management; manage pipeline and priorities.
• Comfort working independently in field-based environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet a 1-hour commute.
• Must live locally to the posted market, generally within a one-hour commute.

Responsibilities

• Own a full-cycle, new-business sales process from prospecting through close.
• Generate pipeline through outbound calling, email, local networking, referrals.
• Build relationships with local business owners and become a trusted advisor.
• Conduct in-person meetings and sales presentations throughout your assigned territory; this is a field-based role.
• Diagnose a prospect's needs and connect them to the Thryv Growth Platform's capabilities.
• Manage a pipeline against clear sales goals and consistently move opportunities forward to close.
• Participate in sales training, call calibrations, coaching, and team meetings.
