Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a field-based sales professional to cover Baltimore and surrounding MD areas. The role focuses on providing scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement to specialist customers for a GSK biologic product.

You will develop targeted sales strategies, build relationships across Marketing, Payer Relations, and Medical teams, and manage resources within compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales and account plans for assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources while adhering to Compliance guidelines and GSK values.
