Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in Greater Baltimore, MD is seeking a Respiratory Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover Baltimore, Westminster, Eldersburg, Catonsville, Columbia and Western Baltimore suburbs. The role focuses on delivering scientific knowledge, engaging customers, and developing account-specific strategies to drive biologic product sales.

You should have 2+ years of pharmaceutical or B2B sales, a Bachelor's degree, and be able to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and refer to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic expertise and evolving guidelines.
• Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement customer-specific strategies for each account.
