Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Engagement Liaison to support rare disease communities, primarily PKU, through field-based outreach to patients, caregivers and advocacy groups across the United States.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to educate, remove access barriers where possible, build relationships with patient advocacy organizations, and develop educational programs while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, advocacy, medical or related field.
• Experience supporting people with rare diseases and patient advocacy organizations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with rare disease communities, patient advocacy organizations, to understand experiences and inform programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build and leverage relationships with patients, caregivers and advocacy groups.
• Assist the community with resources to help remove access barriers to coverage for marketed products.
• Develop and execute educational programs for patients and caregivers.
• Work cross-functionally with medical, communications, commercial, legal and compliance teams to follow guidelines.
