PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Field-based Patient Engagement Liaison to support individuals with rare diseases, their caregivers, and advocacy organizations. The role centers on PKU communities and may involve other therapeutic areas.

You will liaise with patient groups, educate, and help remove access barriers to treatment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in pharma or related fields, with strong communication, collaboration, and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advocacy, medical, or related field.
• Experience supporting people with rare diseases, their caregivers and advocacy organizations.

Responsabilités

• Engage with the rare disease community to understand experiences and feed insights to PTC.
• Collaborate internally with other PTC teams to build and leverage relationships with patients, caregivers and Patient Advocacy Organizations.
• Assist the community with resources to remove access barriers to gain coverage for marketed products.
• Build patient advocacy and community relationships for marketed products and those in development.
• Work cross-functionally with medical, communications, commercial, legal and compliance colleagues to ensure country-specific guidelines are followed.
• Connect families to Patient Advocacy Organizations and resources.
• Develop, plan and execute educational programs for those living with rare diseases and their caregivers.
• Support Patient Advocacy Organizations through shared interests in education and programs.
• Advocate for access to care and therapies within regulatory frameworks.
