Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Field-based Patient Engagement Liaison to support individuals with rare diseases, their caregivers, and patient advocacy organizations. This role focuses on the Phenylketonuria (PKU) community and may touch other disease areas.

You will collaborate with medical, communications, and commercial teams to educate communities, connect families with resources, and help remove access barriers to therapies. Travel up to 75% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advocacy, medical, or related field.
• Experience supporting people with rare diseases and advocacy organizations.

Responsibilities

• Engages with the rare disease community and patient advocacy organizations.
• Collaborate internally to identify, educate, and leverage relationships with patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups.
• Assist the community with resources to remove access barriers to marketed products.
• Build patient advocacy and community relationships for marketed products and those in development.
• Work cross-functionally with medical, communications, commercial, legal and compliance teams to follow country-specific guidelines.
