Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. in Franklin, MA, is seeking a Community-based Skills Trainer for our Personal Care Attendant Program. The role covers Franklin with a 60-mile radius and pays $21 per hour for a full-time schedule of 35 hours weekly.

Position requires travel, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. Two-day orientation will occur in Stoughton, MA, with training for 2–3 weeks. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing services for people with disabilities and knowledge of PCA programs is preferred.
• Experience or education in teaching or counseling is helpful.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service systems is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook and the ability to navigate databases.
• Specialized training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers and surrogates on managing PCA services.
• Assess consumers' ability to manage PCA services.
• Train consumers and surrogates with the skills needed for the PCA program.
• Maintain confidentiality in all consumer related issues.
• Attend trainings and meetings as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
• Submit timely documentation and daily/weekly progress notes.
• Verify and approve timecards and update calendars.
• Provide training and ongoing support for EVV.
