Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Community-based Skills Trainer for the Personal Care Attendant Program in the Framingham area, covering a 60-mile radius. This full-time role requires travel, a valid driver's license, and mileage reimbursement.

The position supports consumers and surrogates in learning how to manage PCA services. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; a GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing services for people with disabilities is preferred.
• Experience or education in teaching or counseling is helpful.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service systems is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers on how to manage PCA services in the PCM program.
• Train consumers and surrogates the skills needed to manage their PCA program.
• Follow Mass Health Service Agreement and PCM Contract requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality in all consumer related issues.
• Attend in-service, supervision and staff development meetings when requested by supervisor.
• Complete and track required documentation within timelines.
