Job summary

Anika Therapeutics is seeking a Commercial Manager for the Northeast region. The role leads sales efforts, coordinates with distributors and clinicians, and supports commercial strategy execution across PA, NY, NJ, DE, MD and surrounding states.

The position requires heavy travel (75%+), collaboration with the Director of Sales, and strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical and medical device markets. New York or Boston preferred for location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business.
• 75%+ travel.
• 5+ years of sales leadership in orthopedics or medical devices.
• Strong communication and strategic account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate sales policies, strategies, and tactical goals.
• Promote assigned product lines throughout the Northeast.
• Analyze sales and marketing activities, performance, and forecast data for progress toward goals.
• Support regional commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Attend surgical cases with distributor representatives to support proper product utilization.
• Maintain KOL relationships across orthopedic and sports medicine communities.
• Collaborate with distributors to ensure effective sales messaging and regional success.
• Organize distributor sales training and product education initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a strong regional distributor base.
