Job summary

Compass Pathways seeks a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy. This field-based role covers Richmond and surrounding areas, with travel up to 70%. Reports to the Regional Sales Director and collaborates with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Support to enable patient access.

The candidate will educate providers on COMP360, build relationships with treatment centers, and navigate payer pathways to support site-of-care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill, and payer processes.
• Demonstrated success launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of Compass Pathways’ mental health therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers with referral pathways.
