Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across certified treatment centers in a defined territory. You will engage psychiatrists and healthcare providers through a highly consultative approach, balancing clinical education with account management and patient access strategies.

Location: Field based with up to 70% travel. Reports to Regional Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the company’s innovative mental health therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other key stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and optimization of treatment delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and operational considerations unique to the treatment model.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure coordinated execution and access.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and connecting to resources.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
