Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across certified treatment centers within a defined US territory. The role is field-based and requires strong clinical education, account management, and patient access expertise, with travel up to 70% depending on geography.

You will develop partnerships with psychiatrists and healthcare providers, align with regulatory and safety frameworks, and contribute to a patient-centric launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, preferably in specialty/complex areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics.
• Proven success launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists and treatment centers.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support provider referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboard and optimize delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Ops.
• Assist providers with reimbursement pathways and access-related challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
