Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across designated centers. The role is field-based with up to 70% travel, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

You will develop relationships with psychiatrists and healthcare systems, deliver clinical education, and support patient access and onboarding in a changing treatment landscape.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to launch and drive uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and payers.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboard and optimize delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations.
• Partner with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and resolving access challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and patient journey optimization.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant and patient-centric engagements.
