BD is a global medical technology company seeking a field-based Medical Sales Professional in New Jersey. You will drive sales, grow current accounts, and train surgeons and OR staff on our products to ensure proper usage.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in general sales, with medical sales preferred, plus a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and a willingness to travel 60% including overnights. BD offers comprehensive benefits and a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years general sales experience; medical sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Understanding of product buyer concept and contract administration.
• Ability to travel at least 60%, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Attain sales goals within the designated territory and budget.
• Grow sales of current accounts and establish new accounts.
• Present, educate, and provide in-services on BD products to surgeons and OR staff.
• Provide on-site technical support during procedures to ensure proper use.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on product use.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, channels, and pricing.
• Develop new prospects and manage customer relationships.
