Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
• 2+ years of direct people management and/or ability to lead others to accomplish sales goals.
• Preferred experience in orthopedic joint replacement or similar surgical device sales.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Familiarity with hospital procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Joint Replacement Sales Representatives to meet revenue and market share targets.
• Analyze market trends and create data-driven territory sales plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and clinical support teams.
• Prepare and manage sales budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize pricing strategies and discounts.
• Provide hands-on support in operating room consultations and handling issues.
• Use sales data and CRM tools to generate forecasts and track progress.
• Promote Stryker’s mission of improving healthcare through ethical, customer-focused sales practices.
