Job summary

Department of Family and Protective Services in Temple, TX seeks a Human Services Technician to support CPI investigations. The role includes transporting clients, supervising visits, and handling documentation and scheduling within the unit.

You'll work closely with DFPS staff, travel up to 75%, and perform clerical tasks while ensuring safety and compliance with agency guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive state benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• vOne year of full-time experience in social services, clerical, or related fields.
• Thirty college hours can substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation for clients to and from appointments as requested by caseworkers.
• Observes and supervises parent and child visits.
• Completes forms and data entry into IMPACT and agency systems.
• Maintains outgoing appointment calendars for scheduling requests.
• Performs clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Promotes cultural diversity and respectful interactions.
• Attends work regularly per agency policy.
