Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline Health Informatics Manager is a field-based role covering CA, OR, WA, AZ, AK, HI, ID, NV. You will partner with health systems and GSK teams to align HIT capabilities with customer needs, clinical workflows, and technology environments.

Working within a shared-service model, you translate data insights into opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency, while upholding governance and applicable compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and HIT.
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams.
EHR platform experience with front-end use and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with workflows.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities.
Educate customers on EHR-enabled, digital, and measurement resources.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
Serve as HIT subject matter resource across Market Access and other units.
Ensure governance, privacy, security, and compliance decisions in scope.
