Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager, Franchise Performance to support a portfolio of franchise restaurants in Scranton, PA. This field-based role partners with franchisees to improve sales, profitability, operations, and brand execution, with frequent travel and data-driven decision making.

You will review performance data, develop action plans, coach operators, and collaborate with internal teams on market development and openings. Strong business acumen and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel 80-90% within territory, including evenings/weekends.
• High school diploma and undergraduate degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in multi-unit quick-service restaurant, hospitality, or field operations leadership.
• Strong business acumen on P&L, sales trends, cost drivers, margin improvement, and influencing positive financial outcomes.
• Ability to coach and influence operators and franchisees.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory of franchise restaurants and serve as a trusted business partner to franchisees.
• Review sales, financial, operational, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with franchisees to create action plans that improve sales and profitability.
• Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess operations, food safety, standards, and overall performance.
• Coach franchisees on company programs, technology tools, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Support new restaurant openings, remodels, ownership transitions, and other market development activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support franchisee success and market performance.
