Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager, Franchise Performance to lead a portfolio of restaurants in a travel-heavy field role. You will partner with franchisees to identify opportunities to boost sales, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring brand standards are met.

This in-field position requires frequent travel, strong business sense, and the ability to influence without direct authority. You will coach operators, analyze data, and support openings and remodels across the territory.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel 80-90% within the assigned territory, including evenings/weekends as needed; in-field 4 days/week with one admin-from-home day.
• High school diploma and undergraduate degree in Business, Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in multi-unit quick-service restaurant, fast casual, or related field operations; QSR/foodservice preferred.
• Strong business acumen with P&L, sales trends, margins, and financial outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence operators, managers, franchisees, or field teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory of franchise restaurants and act as a trusted business partner to franchisees.
• Review sales, financial, operational, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with franchisees to create action plans that improve sales, profitability, guest experience, and brand execution.
• Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess operations, food safety, standards, and performance.
• Coach franchisees on programs, technology tools, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Support new restaurant openings, remodels, ownership transitions, and market development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support franchisee success and market performance.
