Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Specialist based in Minneapolis to oversee preventative maintenance across restaurant locations. You will supervise market-level facility aspects, conduct monthly site visits, and develop maintenance schedules for safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on trades knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration, plus training staff and coordinating with the Operations Team.

Qualifications

• Two years formal or informal training on how to repair and maintain facilities.
• B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of facility safety requirements.
• Experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration or appliance repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities.
• Carry out procedures to address facilities cease functioning or safety threats to staff/customers.
• Train managers and crew on facility maintenance and repair concepts and needs.
• Provide maintenance visit recaps to Operations Team and Regional Facilities Manager.
