Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain restaurant facilities through preventative maintenance and proactive inspections.

You will train staff, coordinate with vendors, and support site visits to ensure safe, efficient operations across markets. A strong background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC basics is preferred, with a BA/BS and two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or equivalent with two years formal or informal training in repair/maintenance of facilities.
• Experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration or appliance repair preferred.
• Knowledge of facility safety regulations and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repair during monthly site visits and analysis.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration.
• Provide upkeep of facility records and maintenance recaps for Operations Team.
• Train managers and staff on maintenance processes and safe operation of facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to repair facilities and communicate deficiencies.
• Support new store turnover walks and post-opening facility readiness checks.
