Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Field Technician to maintain restaurants through preventative maintenance across all facility systems.

You will supervise facility aspects at market level, perform monthly site visits, and develop maintenance schedules for cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration to keep restaurants safe and efficient. Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal or informal training on repairing and maintaining facilities; experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration or appliance repair preferred.
• Strong trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and commercial cooking equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects at the market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repairs during monthly site visits and analyses.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for cooking equipment, HVAC, sinks, plumbing, electrical circuits, and refrigeration units.
• Carry out procedures to address facilities ceasing to function or posing health/safety risks.
• Train managers, crew, and staff on maintenance procedures and safety.
