Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Facilities Manager to support the Facilities Manager by supervising restaurant-level facility aspects and performing scheduled maintenance across markets. You will oversee maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

The role requires strong trades knowledge, the ability to train staff, and coordination with multiple teams to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of facilities safety requirements and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and coordinate deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects at market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repairs through site visits and analysis.
• Create preventative maintenance schedules for restaurant facilities.
• Lead training for managers and staff on maintenance practices.
• Prepare maintenance visit recaps for leadership teams.
• Identify issues affecting maintenance costs and communicate to leadership.
