Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain restaurants through preventative maintenance and repairs. You will supervise facility aspects at the market level, schedule and perform site visits, and train staff on maintenance practices.

The role requires knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and kitchen equipment, plus a strong safety mindset and the ability to travel between locations with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of facilities safety requirements and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and plan work for timely results.
• Effective communication and training of facility maintenance concepts.
• Clean driving record to travel between restaurants.
• BA/BS in related field or equivalent with two years training or experience in repair/maintenance of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repair during monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe and efficient operation of restaurant facilities.
• Conduct maintenance seminars and training for staff.
• Provide maintenance visit recaps and identify cost-saving opportunities.
