Job summary

Verbal Beginnings in Maryland seeks a field-based BCBA to bring clinical care directly to clients' homes, schools, and community settings, enabling real-world generalization of skills.

Collaborate with RBTs, fellow BCBAs, and families to design and refine treatment plans, supervise staff, and promote high-quality outcomes. This BHCOE-accredited site offers mentorship, a transparent, performance-based pay structure, and growth opportunities across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
• BCBA certification
• Licensed in Maryland (or actively pursuing licensure) at the time of hire
• Experience supervising the implementation of ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to client locations

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings to conduct assessments and understand needs in natural environments
• Develop and refine individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions
• Train, supervise, and support RBTs in the field to ensure clinical consistency
• Partner with families through education and coaching to implement strategies at home and in daily routines
• Collaborate with supervisors and QA to review outcomes and raise the standard of care

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis

BCBA certification

Maryland licensure (or pursuing)

Experience supervising ABA-based programs by RBTs

Valid driver's license and transportation
