Job summary

Verbal Beginnings seeks a field-based BCBA to bring evidence-based ABA into children’s homes, schools, and communities. You will assess, develop and refine treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and partner with families to support daily progress.

As a BHCOE-accredited training site, you’ll mentor clinicians, access a broad mentorship network, and participate in a transparent compensation model with opportunities for professional growth and generous referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field is required.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
• Licensed in Maryland (or actively pursuing licensure) at time of hire.
• Experience supervising ABA-based treatment programs with RBTs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings to conduct assessments and create treatment plans.
• Develop and refine individualized ABA treatment plans based on each child’s learning profile.
• Train, supervise, and support RBTs in the field to ensure clinical consistency.
• Partner with families through education and coaching to implement strategies at home and in daily routines.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review outcomes and maintain high standards of care.
