Job summary

Verbal Beginnings in Washington, DC area is seeking a field-based BCBA to bring clinical care into homes, schools, and communities. You will lead assessments, develop tailored ABA plans, and mentor RBTs while partnering with families to support daily progress.

You will travel across client locations, collaborate with supervisors, and contribute to a BHCOE-accredited training site that emphasizes outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Licensed as a Behavior Analyst in Washington, DC (or actively pursuing DC licensure) at the time of hire
• Experience supervising the implementation of ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to client locations
• A genuine dedication to providing high-quality, outcomes-based care for children and their families

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings to conduct comprehensive skills and behavior assessments.
• Develop and continuously refine individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Train, supervise, and support your team of RBTs in the field.
• Partner with families through hands-on education and coaching.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the QA team to review outcomes and raise the standard of care.
