Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a field-based BCBA to bring ABA therapy directly to the homes, schools, and communities of clients in Maryland. You will collaborate with RBTs and clinicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and meaningful outcomes for children with autism.

Your role involves coaching families, supervising staff in the field, and contributing to a BHCOE-accredited training environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification is required or actively pursued.
• Licensed in Maryland or actively pursuing licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings for assessments and treatment planning.
• Develop and refine individualized ABA treatment plans tailored to each child.
• Supervise and support RBTs to ensure clinical consistency across cases.
• Educate and coach families to implement strategies in daily routines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and QA to review outcomes and raise care standards.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis

BCBA certification

Maryland licensure (or pursuing licensure)
