Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is a BCBA-owned ABA therapy provider serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder across Maryland and surrounding areas. As a field-based BCBA, you will bring clinical care directly into homes, schools, and communities, guiding families and supervising RBTs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will join a BHCOE-accredited training site with a focus on professional development, mentorship, and a clear career ladder within a growing clinician network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in applied behavior analysis or a related field is required.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required or actively pursuing licensure in Maryland.
• Experience supervising ABA-based treatment programs and supervising RBTs is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings to conduct assessments.
• Develop and refine individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each child.
• Train, supervise, and support RBTs in the field to ensure clinical consistency.
• Coach families and partner with supervisors to improve outcomes across settings.
• Collaborate with QA to review outcomes and raise standard of care.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

BCBA certification

Maryland licensure (or actively pursuing)

Experience supervising ABA programs (RBTs)

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
