Job summary

Verbal Beginnings seeks a field-based BCBA to bring evidence-based ABA into homes, schools, and communities. You will assess, design, implement, and supervise treatment plans, collaborating with RBTs and clinical supervisors to ensure high-quality outcomes for each child.

You will mentor families, train staff, and participate in a BHCOE-accredited training site. Maryland licensure is required or in process; travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification and licensure in Maryland (or pursuing).
• Experience supervising RBTs in field settings.
• Commitment to evidence-based ABA practices.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings for assessments.
• Develop and refine individualized ABA treatment plans for each child.
• Train and supervise RBTs; ensure clinical consistency.
• Partner with families through coaching and education for home use of strategies.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review outcomes and raise standard of care.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

BCBA certification

Licensed in Maryland (or actively pursuing licensure)
