Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an Account Executive focused on the automotive industry to build relationships with dealership owners, GMs, and key decision-makers in the Charlotte market.

This field-focused, relationship-driven sales role offers significant autonomy and a path to uncapped commissions, with a guaranteed income in Year 1 against the commission structure. You will travel to dealerships, sell across radio, digital, streaming, social, events, and sponsorships, and manage a Salesforce pipeline.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive industry experience preferred.
• Experience with dealerships, dealer groups, automotive vendors/agencies, or OEMs.
• Confident engaging directly with dealership owners and GMs.
• Strategic, consultative sales approach with strong business and digital acumen.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Existing automotive relationships are a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Year 1: Guaranteed income against commission.
• Ability to exceed the guarantee through uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build relationships with automotive dealerships through in-person visits, networking, referrals, and lead lists.
• Spend 40%+ of the week in the field meeting with dealership decision-makers.
• Sell customized solutions across radio, digital, streaming, social, events, and sponsorships.
• Develop proposals, manage your Salesforce pipeline, and communicate campaign results.
• Build and grow a book of business within your market.
