Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to service BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments across the United States, with travel as needed. Shift options include evenings with potential overnight travel for customer installations and upgrades.

You will drive service revenue through preventive maintenance and instrument moves, coordinate with teams, and maintain equipment while meeting safety and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline OR 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of electronics, mechatronics and PLCs; pneumatics.
• Ability to discuss software upgrades with IT and lab leadership.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade and repair instruments to meet specifications.
• Drive field service revenue via preventive maintenance and moves.
• Communicate work performed and provide follow-up plan.
• Schedule and complete system upgrades with customers.
• Report and document all complaints in the systems of record.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, vehicle and equipment.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation.
