Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee to support customers after accidents by inspecting vehicles, estimating repair costs, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with body shops and rental companies. The role will involve field work in the New Haven, CT area and requires a valid driver's license and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

The program includes hands-on training at our Ashburn, VA facility plus field training in NY, TX, CA, with licensing and education

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license that meets company underwriting guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Consult with involved parties, review insurance contracts, inspect vehicles, write estimates and manage rental cars.
