Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee to support customers after accidents. You will inspect vehicles, estimate repair costs, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts suppliers.

This in-person, Seattle-area role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Training at Ashburn, VA facility initially, with field training across NY/TX/CA.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage; estimate repair costs.
• Negotiate settlements; coordinate with body shops, rental companies and parts providers.
• Consult with involved parties and review insurance contracts.
• Write estimates and manage rental cars.
