Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee to inspect and assess vehicle damage, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements. You will collaborate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers to support customers after accidents.

The role requires customer-facing experience, adaptability to high-volume environments, and a valid driver's license. Training and licensing support are offered, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide insurer.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable goals preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license that meets company underwriting guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage and estimate repair costs.
• Negotiate settlements with customers and body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts suppliers to facilitate repairs.
• Provide reassurance and solutions to customers after an accident.
