Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee in the Queens, NY area. You will inspect and assess vehicle damage, estimate repair costs, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, managing rental cars, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Licensing and a high school diploma are preferred, with opportunities for training and advancement in a large, diverse insurer.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume environments with KPIs is a plus.
• Active Adjusters license is preferred; training and exam fees may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and assess damage; write repair estimates.
• Negotiate settlements and coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Consult with involved parties and ensure accurate, timely processing of claims.
