Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. seeks a field assessment professional to conduct on-site evaluations of electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and structural systems across commercial, residential, and industrial properties.

This role requires extensive travel and meticulous data collection for client reports. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property condition assessments, strong written communication, and ability to translate technical findings into clear client reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in property condition assessments preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent written communication; ability to convey technical issues clearly in reports.

Responsibilities

• Regional travel to perform on-site assessments of building systems.
• Collect and document data using electronic, web-based, or manual methods.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliant issues and recommend actions.
• Prepare and summarize findings in proprietary reports with photos and supporting docs.
• Communicate site visit results to key stakeholders and follow safety standards.
• Adhere to company travel policy and submit expense reports accurately.
