Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a candidate to perform field assessments, QA/QC inspections of multiple building systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire & Life Safety, and Structural) to ensure life specifications.

Travel to client project sites is extensive and may include commercial, residential, or industrial buildings. Each program may have specific protocols from sales, program, or leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the field of property condition assessments is preferred.
• Experience in the MEP trades, home inspections or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• A motor vehicle background check must show: No serious traffic violations; No criminal motor vehicle convictions; No moving violations demonstrating unsafe operation.
• Excellent communication and writing skills are required for reports to clients with limited technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Regional travel to perform on-site physical building assessments.
• Collect and document data using various resources as directed by program needs.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliant issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare proprietary reports summarizing findings with photos and supporting documentation.
• Communicate site visit results and compliance issues to key stakeholders.
• Follow all company safety standards and travel policy, including timely expense reporting.
