Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to join our National Field Service team. You will travel across the United States assembling heavy mining equipment on-site, often 6 weeks on the road with substantial overtime.

The role involves on-site assembly of Komatsu rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies, field maintenance, welding, and field machining. Emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Welding experience with FCAW preferred and AWS D1.1 certification required.
• 5G welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field mechanical maintenance and repairs in the field.
• Field welding in heavy industrial environments.
• Travel nationwide to provide on-site support and repairs.
• Operate heavy equipment safely.
• Field machining as needed.
