Job summary

Sartorius in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Field Application Specialist to help customers apply, implement and use separation technologies (NFF, TFF and UF/DF). You will translate process requirements into effective application solutions and provide technical consultation throughout the customer lifecycle.

The role requires a life sciences or engineering background with 3+ years in bioprocessing or MSAT, hands-on experience with filtration and clarification tech, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in process development, MSAT or bioprocessing in biotech/pharma or CDMO, or field experience in similar role.
• 1+ years hands-on with TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration or clarification technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical/application challenges in customer environments.
• Ability to document findings clearly and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product/workflow recommendations to accelerate adoption.
• Design, coordinate and document evaluation plans and onboarding outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions to protect productivity.
• Provide technical insights and solution recommendations during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and competitive intelligence to influence portfolio enhancements.
