Job summary

OmniAb seeks a Field Application Scientist to serve as a trusted technical partner to biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic customers, delivering pre- and post-sales scientific support that drives evaluation and adoption of the xPloration platform.

This role will lead customer demos, trainings, and technical troubleshooting, while translating field feedback into scalable improvements and enabling broader adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• MSc in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience in customer-facing scientific roles with trainings and demos.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and screening workflows.
• Strong experimental design, data interpretation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on-site and virtual demos and evaluations with the Sales team.
• Lead customer onboarding, training, and interpretation of results.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting in high-stakes environments.
• Develop enablement tools, protocols, and training materials.
• Capture feedback and communicate insights to Sales, Product, and R&D teams.
• Maintain documentation and CRM records; educate customers on platform benefits.
